Dr. Marcia Ruben, the Founder and President of Ruben Consulting Group and a results-oriented executive coach and organizational consultant, brings over 30 years of experience in untangling complex interpersonal and organizational dynamics. She instills in her clients the confidence to lead and the conviction and skills to build more resilient, responsive teams that thrive despite the uncertainty and ambiguity accompanying tumultuous change. 

The latest research on leadership, complexity, adult development, neuroscience, and organizational dynamics deeply informs Dr. Ruben's approach to executive coaching. The depth of her background and years of pragmatic experience enable her to ensure clients understand their challenges and possess the skills and conviction to navigate them effectively, providing a solid foundation for success.

Dr. Ruben's diverse clientele spans various sectors, including high-tech, biotech, healthcare, financial services, and regional and federal government. She addresses the needs of CEOs, executives, and senior leaders in start-ups and global corporations, demonstrating her ability to adapt her expertise to different industries and organizational structures.

Marcia has substantial experience assisting executives in enhancing their leadership presence, conflict management skills, emotional intelligence, and capacity for complexity, facilitating transformation and substantial business results.

Dr. Ruben contributed significantly to leadership education in her former role as a tenured Associate Professor and Program Director at Golden Gate University. She was the architect of the exemplary MS Leadership degree. Her work in the classroom and as a researcher was consistently recognized for excellence, including the Judith S. Browning Award for Teaching Excellence in 2015 and 2020. She contributed three popular graduate-level leadership courses in leadership to an international audience of students. Her innovative NeuroStroll® process, a product of her research at the intersection of neuroscience and leadership, is a testament to her commitment to integrating scientific insights into practical leadership development. She was honored to be awarded Professor Emerita status in Fall 2023.

Before founding her consulting group, Marcia honed her leadership development, executive coaching, and organizational change management skills by working with Fortune 500 companies in various industries and capacities. Her roles included successful stints as a National Account Executive for a global training company and leadership roles in consulting and Fortune 500 companies. Her rich background has equipped her with deep business acumen and an understanding of what distinguishes top-performing leaders and organizations.
