A Powerful Untangling Tool

What is your capacity for dealing with the complexity you face as a leader?

In her quest to master the most effective untangling tools, Dr. Marcia Ruben invested significant time specializing in tools like the Growth Edge Interview (GEI), developed by Dr. Jennifer Garvey Berger. The GEI identifies how leaders make sense of the world, specifically their “center of gravity” and “growth edges,” where one’s current mindset is stretched.  Once identified, we can jointly map a path for development that increases one’s capacity for complexity.

Dr. Marcia Ruben is offering Growth Edge Interviews with Dr. Ruth Zaplin. We have found that two heads are better than one and our unique partnership provides insight from two very experienced leadership experts.

Our offer has two parts. Choose the one that works best for you.

PART 1:
Dr. Ruth Zaplin and Dr. Marcia Ruben team up for this interview.

  1. An initial conversation to explore the GEI process and ascertain its alignment with your present needs and objectives.

  2. A 60– to 90-minute recorded interview where your challenges become the focal point allows me to understand your sensemaking mechanisms through mindful questioning and listening.

  3. After the interview, the recording is transcribed and analyzed. A copy of the transcript will be shared, serving as the foundation for our debrief session.

  4. In a 60-minute debrief session supported by the transcript, we discuss your reflections and my analysis of your growth edges, fostering a collaborative exploration of possible developmental pathways.

PART 2: (optional)

Depending on your interest in taking the next step, we offer a three-month or six-month executive coaching engagement to support your growth and increase your capacity for the complex changes you face on your job. You can choose to work with one or both of us.
